We take great pride in our Polygood® material, which has earned the prestigious Cradle to Cradle® certification. This rigorous, third-party program evaluates products for their environmental and social impacts.
After a thorough Life Cycle Assessment, The Good Plastic Company holds an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for Polygood®. The EPD serves as an invaluable asset in securing LEED and BREEAM certification for your projects.
Our VOC A+ rating means our products have minimal volatile organic compound emissions, contributing to healthier indoor environments. Polygood® aligns with BREEAM standards for construction materials in the UK and EU, making it a low-VOC emitting material.
Polygood® panels have Euroclass ratings for fire-resistance for two applications:
- Construction products (excluding flooring). Polygood® panels with a special fire-retardant coating achieve a Euroclass rating of E, s3-d0.
- Flooring applications. With an FPCC coating, panels achieve a Euroclass rating of B(fl), s1, according to standard EN 13501-1. This indicates moderate flammability with a low smoke development.
Polygood® panels are certified completely safe for food contact, under European Union Commission Regulation No. 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
