About position:

The Good Plastic Company is an international producer of sustainable surface materials made from 100% recycled and recyclable plastic under the Polygood® brand. Our panels are used in modern, eco-conscious furniture and interior/exterior designs. Since 2018, we have transformed plastic waste into innovative, sustainable materials, delivering over 2,000 projects for clients such as Nike, Adidas, McDonald’s, LUSH, and renowned architectural practices like Gensler, Perkins&Will, HDR, and MVRDV.

With a team of over 80 professionals across 6 locations and 2 manufacturing sites, we serve clients worldwide, from Tokyo to San Francisco, advocating for sustainability and introducing the architectural and design (A&D) market to the unique benefits of recycled plastic.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated A&D Specification Manager to lead Polygood’s business development in Germany, Denmark, and Italy. You will be responsible for growing brand awareness, building strong relationships across the design and construction ecosystem, and securing material specifications in
commercial, hospitality, and retail projects.

This role requires a mix of design-industry expertise, commercial acumen, and technical understanding. You will act as a key representative of Polygood, managing everything from initial client contact to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive specification and sales activities within your regional market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and fabricators.
  • Present Polygood materials and sustainability concept through studio visits, presentations, and events.
  • Identify new projects and manage them through all stages — from design to fabrication and installation.
  • Prepare and manage price offers, quotations, and project cost calculations.
  • Track project pipelines and report on progress using CRM tools.
  • Represent Polygood at local design fairs, conferences, and showroom events.
  • Provide market feedback to support marketing and product development strategies.

    About You
  • 5–10 years of proven experience in A&D specification, business development, or material sales (solid surfaces, decorative panels, furniture components, or similar).
  • Strong existing network within the architecture, design, and fabrication community.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially minded, able to create and manage pricing structures and project calculations.
  • Confident understanding of material properties, production processes, and fabrication techniques.
  • Self-driven and independent, able to operate solo while collaborating remotely with the global team.
  • Fluent in English and the local market language (German, Italian, or Danish).
