Adidas End Plastic Waste

Salt Dune panels made by The Good Plastic Company from 100% recycled polystyrene are appearing in a new installation at the  Adidas Originals Store Le Marais.

The installation is part of the “END PLASTIC WASTE” campaign centred on the iconic Stan Smith sneaker line, and has been produced by Hall.Haus and Atelier Samji – industrial designers with a keen focus on sustainability. It comprises a scene that showcases a range of possibilities for shaping recycled plastic. This material has a distinctive aesthetic, and its value is demonstrated through the creation of several sustainable objects from it.

The installation is a living space, and it is is important to put ourselves in it. Ecology is an essential issue, and by engaging with the installation we inject our own universe, values and ideas, such as the world of sport that inspires us. This makes it an accessible subject that can speak to more people.

The installation and its objects can be found at the Adidas Marais shop.
