FAQ

Materials and workability

What plastic types do you use for production of your panels?

We use Polystyrene (PS/HIPS), Polypropylene (PP), Polycarbonate (PC), Polyethylene (LDPE, HDPE), Polyethylene terephthalate (PETG), Acrylic (PMMA) and ABS. We also can use mixed PE and PP.

Does your material have a particular smell?

No, the raw material is previously sorted and washed, so there is no smell.

Are your panels suitable for indoor or outdoor use?

Both. The panels are water resistant, UV-resistant and rot-proof.

Can you make a product or a panel out of my own plastic waste?

We are able to conduct a test using your raw material and based on the result we could confirm whether we can produce bespoke panels from your plastic.

The plastic needs to be thoroughly washed. Please contact us for more details.

What about the fire resistance of the panels?

PS and PETG panels can be certified for class B fire resistance. Other panels can be certified class E.

What sizes of panels do you offer?

We offer panels of 1000x1000mm size and standard thicknesses of 10mm, 15mm, and 20mm. We can also produce panels with thicknesses from 5 to 40mm on demand. Contact us for other requirements.

Can I order a panel bigger/smaller than 1000x1000mm?

You can order smaller panels. We will shortly launch production with 1x2m and larger sheets.

How do I cut the panels?

The material can be machined, drilled, cut (CNC, woodworking sawblades, router and waterjet), sanded, heat formed, glued, and fixed with screws as well as adhesives.

Is it scratch free?

Our panels have medium to high scratch resistance depending on the material chosen.

Panel applications

What are the main applications of your panels?

Product design, furniture production, interior design, architecture and construction.

Can you assemble objects I want to construct out of your plastic panels?

We are not currently able to provide this service. However, contact us if you would like a referral to a suitable service provider.

What can I make from the panels?
